  • A New Episode of "Cool Met Stuff"

  • Friday, 15th June 2018

Weather radar allows effective monitoring of weather situations, particularly in adverse weather conditions such as typhoons and rainstorms. When other people are rushing back home as a typhoon approaches, radar specialist mechanics of the Observatory have to go to radar stations located at mountain tops to prepare for any unexpected situations. They take good care of the radars day and night, just like a father looking after his child, so that the radars can always function properly. The latest episode of "Cool Met Stuff" is now available on the "MyObservatory" mobile application and the Observatory's website for your viewing (programme is broadcasted in Cantonese).
