Gale force winds in Nan'ao, Shanwei, south of Hong Kong and
Shangchuan Dao. Strong winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters.

Weather Situation:
Pressure is rising over inland Guangdong. The northeast
monsoon is expected to reach the south China coastal waters

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
Northeast force 4 to 5, becoming north force 6 to 7.
A few light rain patches, some haze at first.
Moderate seas, becoming rough.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
Northeast force 6 to 7, becoming north force 7 to 8.
Rough seas, becoming very rough.

South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
Northeast force 5 to 6, becoming north force 7 to 8.
Moderate to rough seas, becoming very rough.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
North to northeasterly winds of force 7 to 8, becoming east
to northeasterly winds of force 6 to 7 later.
