Strong winds in Nan'ao, Shanwei and south of Hong Kong.
Weather Situation:
An easterly airstream is affecting the south China coastal
waters. Besides, an area of low pressure is bringing
unsettled weather to the vicinity of Luzon.
Area forecasts for the next 24 hours
Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East force 4, occasionally force 5.
A few showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.
Nan'ao, Shanwei and South of Hong Kong:
East force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6 at first.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas, rough at first.
Shangchuan Dao:
East force 4, occasionally force 5.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.
Outlook for the following 48 hours
East to northeasterly winds of force 4 to 5, becoming up to
force 6 in east. Occasional heavy showers and squally
thunderstorms.
