Warnings:
Severe squally thunderstorms in Hong Kong adjacent waters.
Strong winds in all areas.

Weather Situation:
At noon, Tropical Storm Maysak with maximum sustained winds
of about 75 kilometres per hour near its centre was located
at 17.4 degrees north, 110.0 degrees east. It is forecast to
move northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour in the
general direction of Hainan Island.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East to southeast force 6 to 7, gusts occasionally up to
force 11 at first.
Scattered heavy squally showers and severe squally
thunderstorms.
Rough seas.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
Southeast force 5 to 6.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
Southeast force 6 to 7.
Occasional heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Rough seas.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
Southerly winds of force 5 to 6, force 7 at first.
Occasional heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
