9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Under the persistent influence of a broad trough of low pressure, showers will still be heavy with squally thunderstorms over the coast of southern China today. With the broad trough of low pressure weakening gradually in the next couple of days, the weather will become bright over the coast of Guangdong, but there will still be showers. Besides, the tropical cyclone near Luzon will linger over the vicinity of Luzon today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, Tropical Cyclone Dolphin over the western North Pacific will move towards the seas south of Japan, then with a higher chance of edging closer to the vicinity of the East China Sea in the latter part of this week. Its outer subsiding air will bring very hot weather to the coast of southeastern China. High temperatures will also trigger thundery showers.
