9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An active southerly airstream will continue to bring unsettled weather to the coast of southern China today. Under the influence of a broad trough of low pressure and upper-air disturbances, there will still be showers and thunderstorms over the region midweek this week. Tropical Cyclone Bavi over the western North Pacific will move towards the seas east of Taiwan in the latter part of this week. Its outer subsiding air will bring mainly fine weather to southern China. It will be extremely hot over inland areas.
