9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An upper-air disturbance will bring a few showers to Guangdong today. The tropical cyclone now near Luzon will move in the general direction of the coast of Guangdong and intensify gradually in the next couple of days. However, under the influence of the northeast monsoon, there are uncertainties in its movement and intensity. The tropical cyclone is expected to bring showers and squally thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong in the latter part of this week and over the weekend. It will be windier with swells over the region. Besides, a tropical cyclone is expected to form over the western North Pacific to the east of the Philippines in the latter part of this week and intensify gradually.
