9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: The trough of low pressure now affecting the coast of Guangdong will weaken gradually later today. With the subtropical ridge covering southern China, showers will ease off and the weather will become very hot over Guangdong in the next couple of days. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to develop gradually over the central and northern parts of the South China Sea midweek this week, and edge closer to the coast of southern China in the latter part of this week to early next week, bringing unsettled weather to the region.
