9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An anticyclone aloft will cover southern China in the next couple of days, the weather will be generally fine and dry over the region. It will become very hot. The northeast monsoon will affect southern China midweek this week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Champi will move across the seas east of Luzon in the next couple of days. However, there are uncertainties in its subsequent movement. It will have a chance to move towards the coast of southeastern China. It will also have a chance to turn northwards and move towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands to the East China Sea. Under the influence of its outer subsiding air, the weather will be mainly fine over southern China in the latter part of this week. It will be very dry and very hot during the day.
