Strong winds in Shangchuan Dao. Weather Situation: At noon, Severe Tropical Storm Mitag with maximum sustained winds of about 90 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 22.5 degrees north, 115.5 degrees east. It is forecast to move northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour towards the coast of eastern Guangdong. Area forecasts for the next 24 hours Hong Kong Adjacent Waters: North to northwest force 8 to 9, becoming up to force 10. Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms. Very rough to high seas. Nan'ao: South to southeast force 6 to 7, up to force 8 at first. Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms. Rough seas, very rough at first. Shanwei: South to southwest force 8 to 9, cyclonic up to force 10 at first. Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms. Very rough to high seas.
