These four officers are commended for their devotion and efforts in conducting visits to the Department for the public during the past years. All visits are well-prepared and carefully thought of. These three officers are commended for their effort and contribution to the publication of the book "Basic meteorological knowledge" in 2007. The book has received favourable comments and enjoyed good sale. Its publication helps heighten public awareness towards natural disasters and is a plus to the Department's image.

These three officers are commended for their devotion and effort in making the Hong Kong Weather Information Network (HK Co-WIN) into a reality. HK Co-WIN, which was launched in September 2007, has successfully attracted good media coverage and a considerable number of enquiries from parties wishing to join.
