  • The Observatory Supporting "France - Hong Kong Month of Environment"

The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong & Macau organized a special event "France - Hong Kong Month of Environment" from 20 September to 20 October 2016, presenting the latest knowledge on environmental science and innovative environmental technology to deal with the challenges of climate change. During an opening event at Cyberport on 24 September, the Observatory joined hands with the Drainage Services Department (DSD) and CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP) to perform two live skits on the respective topics of storm surge preparedness and energy saving that promote climate change adaptation and mitigation measures. In addition, under the "Science in the Public Service" (SIPS) campaign, the "Climate Change – Our Response" Roving Exhibition was also specially staged at the Exhibition Gallery of Cyberport for public viewing.
