To promote students' awareness about the impacts of climate change on biodiversity, the Observatory and the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) jointly delivered a climate change talk for more than 300 students and teachers at the Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College on 2 March 2016.

Mr SHAM Fu-cheung from the Observatory presented the scientific basis of climate change, while Ms CHAN Ching-han from AFCD talked about Hong Kong's biodiversity and illustrated with examples how it would be affected by climate change.
