Student Project Competition
'Climate Change – What can we do?'
Announcement of Results

Commenced in late 2007, the competition attracted over 100 entries from primary and secondary schools.  Most if not all of the entries were of very high standard, and selection of finalists from the participating teams was not easy.  Eventually, in late March/early April 2008, the finalists presented their work in front of a judge panel consisting of experts from tertiary institutions and government departments.  In view of the generally high quality of the submitted projects, the judge panel found it especially difficult to pick out the winners.

As the event organizer, the ‘Science in the Public Service’ campaign would like to thank all participants for their contribution to the activity. The campaign believes that, through the activity, the community’s awareness towards climate change and its effects has heightened.
