A ridge of high pressure brought generally fine weather to southeastern China yesterday. Locally, it was cloudy at first. There were sunny periods during the day. Besides, under the influence of haze, visibility over most parts of the territory once fell below 5000 metres. A maritime airstream is expected to bring warm and humid weather to the south China coast in the next couple of days.
