A ridge of high pressure brought generally fine weather to the coast of southeastern China yesterday. Locally, the visibility was rather low and once dropped below 3000 metres in the harbour yesterday morning. It was sunny during the day. Temperatures rose to 25 degrees or above over most parts of the territory in the afternoon. The warm maritime airstream affecting the south China coast is expected to be replaced by a slightly cooler easterly airstream on Monday.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly fine. The minimum temperature will be about 20 degrees in the morning. Warm during the day with relatively low visibility. The maximum temperature will be around 26 degrees. Light to moderate southeasterly winds.

Outlook : Continuing warm on Sunday. Slightly cooler on Monday. Temperatures dropping further to around 15 degrees later next week.
